Why is the 'Artugrul' show winning the hearts of crores of Muslims?

Dirilis Artugrul, Artugrul Ghazi, Resurrection: Artugrul
If you are not breaking the rules of lockdown and are so lucky that you have a house of your own, then you will hear these words many times every day - it depends on how much time you spend on social media. Personally, I am going to complete almost twenty four hours - but I will tell this story again sometime.

The Turkish TV show 'Ertugrul', based on the 13th century Anatolia, is the story before the establishment of the Ottoman Empire. It shows the struggle of Ertugul Ghazi, father of Osman, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. It is also called Turkey's Game of Thrones, and there are many reasons - because it has everything except the dragon and sex: big castles, great scenery, great clothes, swords swings, thrills, jewels and even That the opening tune of the show is equally encouraging. I have seen himy parents who have reached the age of fifty many times nodding to its title theme, just like I used to do during the GOT - and I love it.
In Pakistan, this show has created a boom, many records have been broken after the Urdu version on YouTube, and now in India too, this show is being well liked in Muslim homes. When I started watching this show, it definitely took a few minutes to get out of the glut of Game of Thrones, but then I just went away watching. What a show, what's a matter.

The show got new life

Ertugrul was released in Turkey in 2014, and became a much-loved show, the effect was also shown in Azerbaijan as the history of the two countries has remained the same. Recently the Prime Minister of Pakistan went to Turkey and heard about the madness of the people about this show. After which he decided to bring it to Pakistan by releasing Urdu dubbing of the show and release it on the first day of Ramadan, after which the show spread like fire in the South Asian Muslim community. Turkey, Pakistan and Malaysia together have decided to fight the rampant Islamophobia all over the world, especially in Western countries, and to compensate for the damage caused by almost every film and Netflix series. Wanted to bring it forward::
As soon as the language barrier was over, Resurrection: Artugrul was actually revived in the audience, after which the show's lead actors were thanking their fans and promising to meet them. I am not complaining, let me make it clear: if there is a meeting, you believe that I will definitely meet in the queue.

This representation reduced the appetite of the Muslim audience

This show is brilliant from every perspective, no matter what you try to judge it on; Be it directing, story, acting or production - there is more to it than this. If Muslims from all over the world have become emotionally attached to this show, is it because the show is based on Muslim characters? It's not like this. The truth is that, for the first time, a show does not show a Muslim character as a goth, or a sneaky, or a terrorist. He is a real hero. A generous person who lives according to the Quran, and makes every effort to do good to his people. For the first time in a show, Muslims are shown to have heart, they also have feelings and they also have flaws like other humans. This is all new, especially for shows of such production value.
What I liked best was that the Muslims and Christians shown in the show did not look different, they were not shown as good versus bad. Good and bad were seen on both sides, due to which the human heart was seen in the story for which we were longing. People of the previous generation who did not like a show like Game of Thrones, found it very encouraging to like this genre show. Seeing the portrayal of an Islamic empire on TV screens is a new thing in itself. If ever in any show or film, the Muslim empire has been shown, then it was shown from a negative perspective.
:In this case, it is not just a show, it is the declaration and end of the ancient Orientalist identity of the Islamic world, in which Muslim kings were shown to be barbaric and cynical who were always steeped in violence and violence."
The show is replete with Quranic messages, which bring a new dimension to almost everyone. In fact, through Ertugrul Ghazi, Muslims from all over the world have not only got a show which has been made in the best way but also the heroes that they had heard from their ancestors.

What is fatwa and what is wrong

Zakir Naik, releasing a video describing the show, said that the show does not have scenes of big crime like love scenes but still it is 'haraam' to watch, and encourage those who don't watch TV shows He refused to watch this show as well. Zakir Naik said that the eyes of Muslims are not allowed to see the music present in the show and women without hijab. Now whether you agree with them or not is up to you, but everything that is associated with the word 'Muslim' becomes a controversy, so we were ready for it. my opinion? Hmmm ... maybe I am making even bigger mistakes, but then the thing is that I am not a preacher.

If I could change one thing related to this show, it is that it is very long. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and think 'Will I be able to watch the entire 500 episodes in this life?' And then I can't sleep all night ... I was joking. But really, it seems like 'cos saas bhi kabhi bahu thi' will never end. Many times you start thinking that if these horses did not run in slow-motion, it would have been good, and that people would have been rather dramatic, so that everyone's face would be reacted to everything ... so that the show would move quickly .. But this is just my thinking.

It has become a custom for many Muslim families to watch Artugrul together in the evening. We all sit together and watch the show and try to understand the complex relationships of all the characters, growling at their mothers when they try to hide their face in the scene of the bloody war, and smile proudly when a good person Accepting the training of the Prophet, he refuses to give up. It is true that this show needs to reach other sections, but I have not given up hope.
"Where everyone cannot feel connected to the religious perspective of this show, and this is not necessarily the case. Without it, this show is equally great."
If nothing else, everyone will definitely get a character who will become his favorite in this show, and I fully support it. Even more important is that such a show will play a big role in the fight against Islamophobia, because it makes sense of the culture and life of Muslims. This show also allows him to feel like a normal human being, and this is the thing that the world is denying him every day.
Thanks:
